Peace On Earth

This year has been one of upheaval, of unkind words, of pain, and of sorrow. My prayer is that people would stop hating each other and start caring about one another again. It's the only way we will survive this life.

About this: I created the girl in Daz Studio, the back ground is from Martha Van Eck, and the ice brushes are from my personal stash. The poem was written by me.

Gratitude

This week the challenge for the Art Journal Caravan was to think about what we're thankful for. It didn't take me long to put a list together, there is so much in my life that I feel truly blessed. My list was too long for a page, however, so I narrowed it down a bit.  I find that when I'm down or start to feel overwhelmed, just reminding myself of what I'm thankful for really changes my attitude.
