When Darkness Closes In

I struggle with depression, I have since I was a small child. Lately, I've been going through a lot with family, work, and just observing what's going on in this crazy world, and I find myself some days being engulfed by the darkness. Today is one of those days.

 I'm so thankful I have art and some wonderful people in my life who help me work through the sadness.

I used various kits from Mischief Circus to create this, along with my own textures in Photoshop CC 2017.

The world just got a little darker...

Though I know you are now in heaven

Dancing among the stars

I would give anything

To see you back in your mother's arms.

Though heaven just received another angel

One that shines bright with love and light

This world feels a little colder

Day has turned to twilight.
