Red

This is one of the pieces I created for Challenge 1 of the "My Photo Artistic Life" course from Sebastian Michaels.  The background photo is one that I took up in Northern Minnesota near the Split Rock Lighthouse. I desaturated the photo, layered in another photo I took of clouds, used texture from Pixel Dust, grunge photo edges from Kim Klassen and vector 3 from Vector Set 12. The red hooded figure is from my personal stock files. 

Weird Girl

I've always related to Wednesday Addams, the weird, dark and slightly morbid girl. While I've created many Wednesday Addams figures, when I saw this by Xquizart at Mischief Circus, I just  had to play. All elements are from Xquizart, done in Photoshop CC 2017. 

When Darkness Closes In

I struggle with depression, I have since I was a small child. Lately, I've been going through a lot with family, work, and just observing what's going on in this crazy world, and I find myself some days being engulfed by the darkness. Today is one of those days.

 I'm so thankful I have art and some wonderful people in my life who help me work through the sadness.

I used various kits from Mischief Circus to create this, along with my own textures in Photoshop CC 2017.

A Peaceful Lady

I love the look on this woman's face, so peaceful, which is something I personally am struggling to find right now.
The elements used for this layout are from Songbirdy and itKuPiLLi Imagenerium, both found at MischiefCircus. I also used various textures and brushes from my own stash I created. Photoshop CC 2017

A Little Rain Won't Hurt You

It's been raining for the past week, but I love the rain because it brings with it the promise of green grass, flowers and the beauty of spring.

This was created by using a kit from Songbirdy from Mischief Circus, using Photoshop CC 2017 and various brushes I own.

TAW Challenge: Old Fashioned

The Take  A Word Challenge this week is "Old Fashioned", depicting the fashion of an era. My choice is the Gibson Girl, a style popular in the late 1800's and early 1900's.

A Curious Day

This is kind of a steampunk version of Wonderland. I created the "Alice" character in Daz Studio 4.9, everything else is from various kits from Mischief Circus. Done in Photoshop CC 2017.
