Hello, Spring!

So happy that spring seems to be finally here!

My daughter turned 19 on Friday the 16th. She is an amazing, beautiful, funny, talented girl and I am so proud to be her mom. I love her so much, and my hope for her is that all her dreams come true in the coming years and that she live a long, full life.

The world just got a little darker...

Though I know you are now in heaven

Dancing among the stars

I would give anything

To see you back in your mother's arms.

Though heaven just received another angel

One that shines bright with love and light

This world feels a little colder

Day has turned to twilight.

I love you Jackie.  I wish more than words can say that you were still here...

"Blinded by Winter": Dark Whispers' December "I Can't See" Challenge

This is for the Dark Whisper Challenge at DigitalWhisper .  Although winter can be a beautiful time of year, I have trouble seeing the beauty through the ice and bitter cold that accompany it.  This year, so far, is no different.
